Does anyone know if Cleland raced this livery at all during the 1998 season? As far as I can tell it was only used during pre-season testing but I could be wrong..

quite recently i have watched the 98 season review dvd. and i can honestly say i never spotted this livery from cleland.Originally Posted by Chris05

maybe john and derek shared a car pre-season?
i'm sure derek changed liveries through seasons quite a lot.

He had the 8 in 97 and 99, but not in 98...
Can't you ask him via Twitter or sth. like that?
He should know...

Thanks all, yes, I did message John on Twitter but he never replied to it. I asked because there is a Scalextric model with that livery and I couldn't see where it was actually used other than in pre-testing for 1998. For anyone who is interested, and I hope this is allowed, I posted on slot forums with this list of 90s Scalextric models, along with photos of my collection. Pretty nice collection you have there.
I got some models in 1 to 43, but no scalextric... the eight BTCC cars I got are the "stars" in my collection
