It says above that AM has been removed. I recall reading that DW wanted to race if a deal was available.

I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

Not long till AUTOSPORT International (Jake will be on the Dunlop BTCC stand on Thursday and Friday I think) and then suddenly we'll be at BTCC Media Day and then Brands...can't wait!

Firstly a big, big 'Thank you' to everyone for the kind words of support for Jake in 2016 and lovely comments re the job and the team did....really is hugely appreciated - do come and say 'hello' if you are at any races this year...

Anyway, got some interesting developments and all will be revealed soon.

Main reason I wanted to ask all of your opinions on Driver Merchandise - a bit of market research if you will......

There's a possibility we may have someone who will put together some merchandise for Jake this season.

    Initial ideas are;

T-Shirts (adults and kids - possibly a kind of cartoon version for kids)
    Hoodies....(again adults and kids)
    Cap
    Beanie
Stickers (of the car and a #JH24 logo)
    Mug
Sports Drink's bottle (copy of Jake's design)

Maybe also putting together a #JH24 'Driver's Club' - to have access to coaching and/or passenger laps with Jake ...NOT a fan club as has done before....

    Thoughts on these ideas...

Would be sold both at the circuit and on line....

What do you reckon is the going rate price-wise....Making them a bit different, nice quality and of course at a sensible price...

    Thanks all!
Sew on badges for us marshals, its pointless us buying team merch as we always have our overalls on

While Turkington heading back to WSR wouldn't be the worst move, I'd love to see him stay at BMR and beat Plato in equal machinery! He showed last year he fully deserves his chance in the team so hope BMR and Subaru back him.

Aside from that, the reason he left WSR (both times!) was because they didn't have a title sponsor. Unless they've sorted out a replacement sponsor, it would seem unusual if he moved from a works outfit with decent funding.
It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

The reason he left WSR (both times) is because he didn't have the budget, this year it will also depend if he has the funds for a drive either at WSR or BMR. He is not a paid driver, but has to find his own budget.

Think if he stays at BMR this year it will be totally different, last year he was used to 'Rear Wheel' drive where as JP was adapting from 'Front Wheel' in like manner to Turkington adapting to 'Front Wheel' in 2015.

Personally would love to see Collard at BMR, great driver and nice guy.

Confirmation on Autosport.com that Depper has left Eurotech, Smith will continue driving, unsurprisingly seems it's his team!

Yeah hardly surprising, let's hope that Daniel Lloyd has found some backing and can fund a whole season. he was awesome in that car, quicker than the Dynamics cars at times....

I agree, though I've heard Lloyd hasn't got the funds for a whole year

Have heard the likes of Goff linked to the 2nd seat there, someone like him or Josh Cook would lift the car up the grid too.

Jack Goff has just posted a picture of him on his instagram in his IHG rewards club overalls from last year, saying "Not giving up hope of getting back out this year"

Hope he does make it out really great racer and a top bloke

According to their post on Facebook yesterday, they are filming a podcast with Alan Hyde today which they are sharing later in the week. They didn't mention announcing the other 2 drivers.

AmD's 2nd driver announcement on Thursday at ASI, 09.30. Any guesses?

I'd go with Abbott or Hill as a guess.
