    Neither are really surprising though.

Good for both parties I think, also where I thought Jake Hill might end up, so hoping he's with Barties squad!

Excellent, and well deserved. I'll update "the grid" post later on. Hopefully there will be a few announcements today at ASI.

I hope so, he showed great pace last year and got some great results in a car which is a bit long in the tooth. Only an hour to go until we find out.

No seat at Motorbase for Jake Hill

Oh dear, Depper to Motorbase (as some had predicted). I hope the new guy is good.

Good seats are running out fast now. I'll update the grid post later but at the moment 21 filled - 9 remain.

2nd Eurotech Honda, remaining WSR and both 888 seats looking like the plum seats

I'd add BMR to that list. You could only realistically account for Plato in one of those seats - no guarantees on the rest...

Definitely JP, think you can quite righty say Warren Scott, plus I think James Cole had a 2yr Contract so just one seat remaining - hoping it's Collard.

Depper would have been a fantastic "third" driver at Motorbase, but would have liked to have seen someone more along the lines of Jack Goff in the "second" seat, but looks like Depper second and the new guy third.

Depper is a decent driver in a decent car in terms of being a safe driver in the 10th-15th position sort of range. Would have been nice to have seen Mat running at the front, backed up by a regular 6-10th place man and then Depper just behind, but we'll just have to see what the new guy can do.

    A decent day then....

All the cars look good, though the BMW looks great!

I hope this new chappie at Motorbase has the chops to do well. Looks like he does looking at his history, and we have had more than a few decent drivers come from the Ginetta Cup.

I really hope that when the music stops there are seats for some of young the talent in the field, Smith, Sutton, Cook etc.

    I make that 21 seats taken - 11 remaining....
BMR - Kinda hoping that Warren Scott takes a back seat from driving so that we can get some talent in the car. I see some folks think a Turks/Collard swap is on the cards. I remain unimpressed with James Cole but would like to be proved wrong.
888 - surely if they can keep Sutton and Cook they will
WSR - 2 excellent seats there - would love to see Collard remain (I'd love to see him win the series too)

    Let's see what tomorrow brings....

Just had a look at his recent results, nothing stands out for me, a few wins here and there but nothing screaming to me that he is going to be a top talent, hope I can be proved wrong
