    Plato‘s number during SEAT era?

When working for SEAT,Plato usually used a specific number"11" on his car, rather than the number that reflects his overall position in the last season, does anyone knows what does that mean?

He used #4 in 2006. I've asked him the question on twitter lets see if we get a response.

... camouflaged advertising for elf oil (11 = elf in German)

...maybe just his lucky number or an allocated number (I think the other Seat had the #12).

Yes,seemed like he only used that number when he was on the podium of overall standings, really don't know why.

He finished 4th in '05 and '06 his team-mates were Thommo and Turner who had 14 and 24 (I think) - all other times, SEAT Sport had 11 and 12 to, I'd guess, show that there wasn't a clear #1 in the team.

It was originally because having won the title in 2001 he didn't return to defend it in 2002. So upon his return in 2004 he used 11 as obviously 1 was reserved for Yvan Muler.

    Okay,that makes sense

But why didn't he change the number after 04' season?Maybe he thought that was iconic?
